My name is Liam Adams and I’m an aspiring journalist. I have a Bachelors of Arts in History and Sociology and recently interned at The Chronicle of Higher Education where I pitched and wrote my own stories. Before that, I reported for my college newspaper, The Tartan, where I wrote multiple investigative articles about extra-curricular and co-curricular departments that were damaged by lay-offs, precipitated by conflict between faculty and staff with college administrators.
My reporting is strengthened by my background in history and sociology because I have learned to think critically and ask unconventional questions, helping me discover creative story angles.
In the past, this website has been many things for different audiences. Today, it exists as a portfolio for my work as a journalist. It contains my writing and photography, both of which are passions of mine and requirements for good reporting.
